Plot Summary
Despite his contribution to protecting the country, the ancient warrior Kim Shin was drawn to a country’s court politics and was purged. But his death is not his end, but his beginning. He turns into a goblin and begins an immortal life. He realizes that the only way to end his immortal life is through Father Goblin and his sword.
900 years later, in modern times, Kim Shin met Ji Eun-tak, a middle school student. Ji Eun-tak has a special ability to see spiritual beings, including the angel of death, from an early age. Ji Eun-tak reveals her surroundings with positive attitudes and bright energy despite the difficulties of her life. Beyond the initial misunderstanding and conflict, the two become deeply connected by getting to know each other.
Kim Shin’s eternal friend and another central figure in the story, the angel of death, Wang Yeo, is an immortal who begins a new life every time he dies. Instead of not remembering his past, he plays a role in helping humans die. Between Kim Shin and Wang Yeo, there is a heavy past and secret accumulated over a long time.
